Default Some Logic Oddness...failing to pick up 4 Au's

Wonder if this has happened to anyone on here.

My cousin is demo-ing IK Multimedia's Classic Studio Reverbs at the moment.

The plugins show up in Garageband and Live6 adapted, but do not show as being available in Logic.

Further oddness about the situation:

1) The plugs do show in plugin manager, and do checkout to be valid. After restting and rescanning, they still did not work.

2) If a garageband project using them is loaded into Logic, then the plugs are available. But only in projects created in this way. Creating a new Logic session results in them being invisible again.

I installed the demos on my machine, and had no such issue. They show up for me in GB, Live7le and Logic 8.

Im stumped. Never seen anything like it before....

I can't see the Logic of permissions being involved in this arguement.

I didn't have to mess with permission to get them to work.

And secondly, they are in the shared MacHD/library/audio/plugins/components folder. This is what is used by all apps running AU's. Since the other two apps capable of hosting AU's are behaving correctly, it makes no sense to assume that something is wrong with the plugins, or permissions to this folder. I have just checked my permissions, and the folder/path above is not mentioned as having privilege conflicts. IF there was a problem, I think it would affect more then just Logic.

But for a giggle. I will tell him to waste 10mins doing his permissions. He could do with it anyway. He has to steal wifi at home, so no good for getting vital updates. He came round mine and needed the last prokit one...which is how old. His permission will be all over the shop !
