Logic 9 - Ironing out the creases

well its installed and immediate impression is, definitely should of been a .5 update, also had to re save my groove templates but got thrown as "make groove template" has moved to the actual quantize setting scroll bar at the bottom and is no longer in the "options" menu.

also im having a very odd issue with opening templates, when logic is not running and i double click a template it will not open up with in logic but rather fire logic up and stops there, if i where to then go to
file>open> template it will ask if i want to close the old project, on clicking "no" the initial failed template appears along with the 2nd template just chosen, im currently repairing permissions to see if it helps and will keep you guys posted

So it might be worth holding out for v10 then?

wow L9 is proving more of a learning curve than i had expected, a lot of slight adjustments to the key commands, workflow has changed slightly too, nothing unmanageable but more so a nuisance but still no fix on the issue im having but find comfort in the fact iv stumbled into one other guy with the same issues

Have you encountered any issues installing the 'Jam Packs' or other

well i updated so didnt install the main bodies as already have most of it will have to look into it though?

nah all went smoothly

in my apple loops folder i have

apple loops for garageband
appleloops for soundtrack pro
ilife sound effects
jam pack 1
jam pack remix tools
jam pack rythm section
jam pack symphony orchestra
jam pack voices
jam pack world music

any one to confirm this is cool?
