... sounds like Apple!

Well autumn would make it two years since LP8 came out, so I guess that's about right. I can't see another verion 8 update before 9 (oh how I hope I'll eat those words, but I won't be! )

ive got them both and like Bigseq2 better , also Arandall who makes the thing is listening to customers over at Kvr and is adding things to it as he go's along , he said he'll add a stutter effect.

It turns pads into superb grooves something effectrix didnt seem to do , the audio examples on the website certainly dont do it justice.

Effectrix effects from what i remember all run on the same sequencer , Each Bigseq effect run on their own independent sequencer so run can run each individual effect at different speeds/time to each other creating much more complex material , Deep yet simple at the same time.

I can see there being an update at least. As i've seen mentioned around, with SL coming out soon it would seem unlikely that they'd release a new piece of software before hand.

Ah ... but you never can tell with Apple!

Logic 8 came out in September 2007, Leopard in October 2007!

I would assume its a different team of programmers who are making the new OS , so i dont think the logic programmers are going to drop tools just because theres a new OS in the pipeline.
