Default Tyros 3 Piano Sounds

OK all can you help?. I have a brilliant Bose L1 Model 2 System PA and Everything on My Tyros 3 keyboard sounds fabulous through it EXCEPT when I use the Piano sounds. I have tried all the usual EQ's and parameter tweeks on the keyboard to no real avail. I want to achieve the same quality piano I get from its onboard speakers.

I don't like the Stagepass speakers they just don't do it! This problem seems to be widespread as regards getting good Piano sounds through either Keyboard amps or PA. I often hear amplified arranger keyboards/work Stations played on TV programs and Live Theatre concerts and the sound is fantastic. Will someone please tell me what the heck they are using.

Piano is a very dynamic sound. It's easy to overload an amplifier's input, even when you don't think it's particularly loud. Try turning the input gain down a bit on your amplifier.

Do you have just a single L1 stack? If so, the issue could be your stereo piano sound getting summed to mono and thus suffering some cancellation that removes all the body from the tone, leaving it sounding hollow. Go through your Tyros piano sounds and see if there is a specific mono piano sound and see if that suffers in the same way through your L1.

Does yours have the Tonematch system, if so, have you tried the dedicated "keyboards" presets?

Could I add a Compact system with it and would that be ok alongside the L1 Model 2 would that do the trick? However I do use a Seperate Electrovoice speaker column with the Bose
