Default Access virus as master keyboard for Logic soft synths?

Firstly, apologies for a very newbie question here but I sold all my studio with the masses of outboard gear when Logic was in version 3 I think - quite a while ago!

So the game has moved on, thank goodness, and I have been trying to catch up as I am looking at getting a small home set up centred around Logic 9. I would like to get one hardware synth to twiddle too, and the Access Virus Ti keyboard version seems to fit the bill there.

My question is, is the Virus keyboard able to act as the master keyboard for the soft synths in Logic 9 too?

Many thanks, apologies if this is obvious but it's been a while.
