Hello chums
Any Virus Ti users out there got a template set up for Cubase 4? I've not really been able to delve into it much since I bought it but as I undestand the Ti control centre is set up in a group channel and then discreet MIDI channels in the group channel take each of the 16 available Virus parts? What an awesome bit of kit though ![]() |

No template needed. You just fire up the VST, select your outputs, and then add a MIDI channel within the project and assign it to the corresponding channel within Virus Control. If you haven't got the software, head over to the Access site and they've got a brilliant download section where you can get what you need. Just a quick aside, however, there are no 64 Bit PC drivers currently available, but they're hard at work on them apparently. I've waited a year! |

Yeah I know it opens as a VST and works really well but it only allows you to open the VC once.
I'd not been able to look into the MIDI routing for multi timbral output form the Virus 'cos i'm not at home to check it out this week, but if it's just a case of inserting the Virus into a midi channel and clicking on a channel number even I should be able to figure that out ![]() |

See the enclosed picture. You'll notice sixteen empty slots on the left hand side. They represent the MIDI channels within the Multi timbral Virus. Basically, it's as simple as selecting the instrument you want to use in these, then opening a MIDI track within the Cubase main window and assigning the appropriate MIDI channel. You can select outputs, edit the sound etc. within the Virus Control. ![]() |

I know what you mean! I haven't used it for nearly a year due to the darned drivers business. I cannot wait to have my new system up and running, set up and ready to go.

Ok I finally had a chance to sit down and set it up properly.
One thing I noticed is that I can't seem to assign any VST effects to one of the Ti midi channels? ![]() Am I limited to the internal effects of the Ti? |

Surely if you chose different outputs from the Virus, then you could send them to the appropriate audio channel and add VST fx. |
