Axiom 61 Sync

hey guys really buggin me now....tryin 2 sync my axiom 61 with my mpc 1000 seen the vid tutorials still no luck....midi out on mpc 2 midi in on axiom still doesnt work i wanna record sound onto my mpc thru my midi keyboard usin fl 8xxl for the sounds ......wanna make a drum beat on my mpc 1000 then record say a piano loop onto my mpc how can i do that? do i have 2 set up my axiom 2 allow the midi 2 be activated?

well you will need to have an audio out coming from your audio interface into your mpc, or if your keyboard (axiom) so either

audio interface>mpc
axiom>mpc

midi only triggers different signals so that those machines connected know which buttons/dials/keys are being manipulated.

so.... connect the midi to trigger the sound which in turn will be transmitted via audio cables, usually 1/4' jack connectors.

forgive me if im stating the obvious it's just you didnt mention that you connected the audio cables only the midi

also why are you sequencing on the mpc and not fl?

jus wanna be able 2 put sum basslines on tracks i make on the mpc and use a few sounds 2 make the track a lil betta...i have audio cables goin from the output of my mpc ...into my fast track pro inputs on the front...but still my mpc doesnt record anything i play on my axiom...i have played the sounds from my mpc on my keyboard but not the way i wanna do it!!!

you need the audio cables to go from the fast tracks "output" to the mpc's "input" you got it the wrong way round from what your saying

yeh i have outputs from the fast track pro straight into the inputs on my mpc but styll nothing!!! all the mpc is set up for midi all the right channels i rekon its somethin 2 do with the axiom ive watched the videos how 2 sync the mpc with midi keyboard but it aint workin

i have just had this workin but the wrong way round.....

EG:

i just loaded up a piano in fl studio linked all the midi wires up and that to try sync them ....and wen i hit record on the mpc fl started playing weird?.....and when i pressed the pads on the mpc it played a key from the keyboard am i close?

yeh has no sounds i'm using sounds from fl studio or reason...
