Unhappy Problems with Keyboard

Hi people,

Why is it when i connnect my midi keyboard Evolution MK-449c and play it through Reason 4, the whole thing is playing an octave down.
So now my C note is now my B note. This is annoying me. I'm trying to learn how to play keys and the only way I can get round it is by transposing it though the Combinator.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Miss Laidlaw

Is this reason 4 standalone or in a host such as cubase. I've had several problems with reason 4 within cubase 4 and one of those is transposition check all the global settings on your keyboard too and also whatever your using to interface the keyboard. A friend of mine had a cheap USB midi device and that used to cause all sorts of problems such as huge latency issues and at times the tendancy to transpose to strange octaves etc.

Hey,
I've had this problem, if youre key board is playing a B instead of a C its paying a key down...

Neway, all you need to is re-install you keyboard drivers and delete the keyboard from the preferences list and re scan for it.

This should fix youre problem.

If not you will need to look in your keyboards Manual and look for a factory reset combinataion (when you hold a set of key or buttons down).
