Some recordings I did with a friends funk band 18 months ago. the quality really isnt that great but it was a fun recording. Everyone was in the basement of the house in a completely untreated room. We turned over a sofa and used it to isolate the bass and 2 guitar mics with pillows etc as dividers. The kit is a 50 manhattan kit from Cash convertors. vox were dubbed over the top as was the trumpet. still was a funny session Some crazy panning and effects on the vox too but this was how they wanted it.

Mevi... really not into HipHop at all, but absolutely loving the Ellie Holland productions, top work mate (and was somewhat surprised to find she was already on my friends list!).

Yeah, Ellie gets about...

Thanks, yeah I started branching out from Hip Hop last year into more soulful and laid back jazz styles. As I get older, the IN YOUR EFFIN FACE-ness of Hip Hop suits me less.

If you like Ellie, you might want to listen to "Chameleon" at www.metis.uk.com, comes out as a single later in the year. It's not on my page for that reason.

Thanks for the friend request.. accepted! 'Lease Of Life' my favourite.

cheers

Hey Mevi digging that track as well. She has a voice that's very now.

well here's my page. All unreleased stuff. 2 were dropped, 1 was a personal edit/mix, 1 was an embaressing learning experience and the others were lsot on a drive that fell over and went whhhhheee bang.

I'm working on new stuff now. remixing a girl called Nicole Tyler, Phoebe 1 and I have my own first own production 1/2 finished. I'm just trying to get hold of the girl I was working with for the vocals to arrange completing
it...

Anyhow here's my link. If anyone likes the Deepswing, Peyton or Damien Marley mixes... mail me and I'll gladly sort you out full copies !

You're never too old to do the club thing. Infact, most of the successful club producers are 30-somethings. Danny from Moto Blanco is nearly 40 something (lord hoping he doesn't read this, he thinks I'm cheeky enough as it is )

Thanks for having a listen tho
