Default Hi, should i be scared? :)

Been perusing the forum now for the last few days now (when i say that, I actually mean "addicted to") so I figured i should introduce myself.

My name is Iain and i'm an alcoholic... ahem musoholic*
Based in the West Midlands and assistant to a reputable engineer in Birmingham.

Currently trying to learn everything I possibly can about recording and everything related, and feel I have made a great start just in the last few days reading your guys reviews and advice. Though i have quickly found the quote "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture." to be very true

Also a keen bassist, formerly from the late band 'Until Further Notice'. Hoping to once again find some like-minded musicians in the Birmingham area in the near future.

Well....

Languages include what could be described as close to English but otherwise known as Brummy (i'm trying very very hard to rectify this ) ; also a little French but i wouldn't jump too quickly at offering me a job as a DV interpreter... unless you sell lots of pain au chocolates

Favourite food would have to be Tuna-melt, ham and eggs and other such pedals from danelectro

inside leg measurement i will get back to you when my tailor comes back with my Gucci platinum encrusted suit :P

Macs know better than to come within 100 feet of me (he says sheepishly typing on his borrowed notebook)

nanana nana na

Well, thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I look forward to learning alot more from you guys

Iain
