The New Lot Comp

Welcome to the New Lot Competition for all you unsigned producers out there. We will try and keep this brief and to the point as you only have four weeks recording time - and every minute counts!

What you need to do is quite simple - write an extraordinarily good, original piece of dance music. There will be 14 finalists chosen by our resident producers (see artist page on www.lot49.co.uk). If you are chosen you will then go on to the next stage - this means you are already a winner and you are guaranteed a release on Lot49 as part of the "New Lot" compilation and you will receive a selection of goodies from our very kind sponsors.

From here you will be voted on by our panel of world class DJ/Producers who will pick out ONE winner for the TOP PRIZE. Our judges are: Orbital, James Zabiela, Timo Maas, D. Ramirez and Steve Mac.

*Also the winners EP will be mastered at the legendary Wired Masters www.wiredmasters.co.uk in London by Kev Grainger who has worked with the likes of Steve Angello, Bjork, Erick Morillo, Gilles Peterson and Gary Numan to name but a few.

The competition starts Nov 1st and ends Dec 1st. No entries submitted after this date will be eligible. The winner will be announced on http://www.lot49.co.uk on December 14th 2009.

well the winners have been announced the tune which won im sorry to say gets boring very very quickly it must have taken the guy 10 mins too do.ive heard much better tunes by sureno and other members on here.sorry just being honest.
if that winning tune ever came on in a club id go stright to the bar or go for a poo its really iritating after 2 mins the tune never changes.
i prefer the 1st tune by insino its got a great vibe to it very chilled out.
