Default Epiphone Camo Zakk Wylde

My Girlfriend bought me a Camo Epiphone Zakk Wylde from this website, and i have reason to believe it is a fake

A Standard LP ZW Camo doesnt have the Pokerchip on the Tone Switch but the guitar i recieved seems to, Need input before i decide to return the guitar

Even the guitar in the images on the website dont have the pokerchip on the tone switch... dont understand?

Ive had a fake before and this is not what i want again

Dv will get their guitars direct from the uk distributor. Selling a parallel line of fakes would see them losing their right to sell the Gibson/epi line quicker than you could say les Paul. There's no way they would risk that or the resulting pr damage. I would happily bet a very large sum of money that your guitar is genuine. Guitar makers slightly change the spec of guitars all of the time. I own two Gibson les Pauls which are very different in spec to each other.

In any case this is a discussion you should be having with the store. I'm sure they can put your mind at rest much more readily than a bunch of music geeks on a public forum!

Yeah, i'd also bet it's genuine.

If you had bought it from ebay perhaps but i'd be extremely surprised if a major music retailer like DV sold you a fake.

Could your other half be pulling your plunger? Maybe she's knowingly bought you a fake and is just telling you she bought it from DV to fool you? Just saying like

Yeah, defo worth giving them a ring mate. I think they open again tomorrow. They're usually very good to deal with. Good luck!
