If its doing the thing where it starts loading and sticks at '30%' of its 'loading screen' try going onto a more direct link like http://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/ and go from there.

I'll have a download version to sell when it gets de-registered. It'll be for a lot less than their offer.

Keep in mind that download products bought past a certain date are no longer allowed to be re-sold/transferred... don't know what said date is, but they changed their policy at one point - only boxed products can be transferred. If you bought your GR3 before this magical mystery date then I think you're OK, though.

Selling downloads from NI in general is sketchy from my official source. I'm ok date wise, I think, as it was a fair while ago. Apparently they also limit the transfers of downloads as a matter of course..... or do they? It seems it's all a bit a discretionary.

thanks guys, i got a good deal on guitar rig 3, 149 euros ! their site isnt great though, lots of fiddley bits etc. which to me seems very confusing, apparently you get it in the mail in 5 days which for an online software edition seems odd to straight folk such as myself, id imagined a download as just that a download of a product but alas ill have to wait till a package arrived from germany or some other exotic location.

I think it was instant when I did it but I did have Le. Does seem a bit strange.
Anyway if anyone else is interested, de-registering permitting, I should have one for sale. ______________________________

got mine running. Shame about the choice of amp (If it was the twin reverb or jazz amp i'd never have needed to think about paying for it :P ) but the cab modelling is worth a lot to me, that's the main thing i ask for from this kind of software. Cheers, NI!
