We're 1 year old!

Pretty much to the day this time back in 2008, DV247 Forums was launched publicly to you lovely people.. Since then membership has grown well, we've had some amazing threads and contributions, acquired friends who've stayed along for the full years journey.. we've had those who popped along for a brief ride and occasionally re-visit, and then there's the new and latest friends who look set to stick around..

There's been some kick ass prize giveaways, major league interviews, feedback and suggestions that have led to improvements, controversy, heated debate, jolly japes and banter, great poetry (well, not quite Shakespeare but hell, not too far away!

), constructive and destructive criticism, erasing of trolls and spammers, watching the birth of a fully fledged pro-studio brick by brick.. Oh, I could go on.. and we're only ONE year old..

So, from the bottom of my plug-in dominated heart, I for one salute and thank-you, DV247 Forum members.. Long may we enjoy meeting here for musical 'shits and giggles', ...Oh, and of course see Sureno hit the 20,000 post mark within 5 years!!

And yes, you guessed it, we do have some fabulous prize competition giveaways to announce in the next week or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was recruited here by Sureno like it was some sort of cult!

And 6600+ posts in a year.....that's with the last month pretty much absent too. Now that's commitment. DV should give this guy a job

Yeah it's good on here.

I like to move around forums. It's not fair to deprive people of some high quality posts. But I've stuck around. Good crew with loads of info on how to get the best out of stuff, what to use, update reminders, offers, deals, tips, secrets, banter. A music forum without attitude - now that's rare.

We all bring something to the table. My musical contribution is the equivalent of a bringing a raisin.

I've been getting my gear together slowly over the last year and I'm down to about the last 500 items I need/want/like/buy for buying sake.

To all those who passed through, to all those who stayed a while, to all those who remain - you're lucky to have me.
