I don't have space for my decks at the moment, so I set one up to record into Ableton 8 and do it that way.

Needless to say, a LLLLLOOTTT of warping has ensued. As well as some fruitless attempts to clean the sound. Live isn't too friendly with that. No waveform editing (ie drawing out of clicks or copying other channel) and it doesn't like plugins like Izotope RX. I had to process the recorded files in the standalone version of RX, which unwittingly has left the files sounding quite cold and thin. I'm hoping it is repairable when I get down to some mastering. I'm gonna run the outputs out to my old proper mixer and use the eq and further effects there. Despite having a Nocturn and playing with Live's devices and crossfader... it's just not like the real thing. It'll then need further editing for clicks and pops..
