I'm surprised nobody is making DIY analogue synth kits anymore, or at least if they are they're not marketing them very well.
I remember gawping at the synth kits in the "Exchange and Mart" when I was a nipper. I think they were Transcendent 2000's though to be honest I can't quite recall exactly. You would have thought at least Maplin would have done something. Perhaps this is something Digital Village could look into. It would be great to make up modules as and when you could afford to and with modern day components. After all, the 60's and 70's stuff drifted out of tune so easily. |
