So the story of my Shure SM7 goes:
Ring up my local music shop, where I buy everything, and they tell me an SM7 costs £480 What? Only a week ago places were selling it at £340.So I crawl the internet looking for a better price because I can't afford to pay so much for one. I find one (I don't know if I'm allowed to say where) listed for £315 inc VAT. So I ring and place my order. I'm told there are none in stock but that they will order it from Shure and I will get it in around 7-10 working days. 3 days later I ring up just to see how things are going with them ordering it. No-one knows, and I'm told to ring back tomorrow. I try to ring back but no-one is picking up the phone. I finally get through at 5pm and am told that the price has gone up, if I pay the extra £90 I can have the mic in 7 working days. *Sigh* I say no thank you, I'll take my money back and look somewhere else. The same day (day 4 after ordering) I ring DV Birmingham. Teh very nice chap who answered told me that their SM7's were making a comeback, and that quite a few were being shifted recently. He tells me the price £333. wow! If I could bite a hand off over the phone, I would have done. Not only that but when I ask about shipping he says it will be with me the next day! The next day arrives and sure enough, it comes So, thanks DV for amazing service. Very friendly staff, exeptionaly fast delivery, and fantastic prices. You will be getting a lot more business from me, I really cant praise the team enough. Thanks again! - Oh and the SM7b is a great mic too! |

That's the kind of service that creates the loyalty we as customers give to DV.

Yep. Been using DV for years now, having had more or less the same experience as yourself Twiggy. Can't beat 'em.
