Definitive Dance charts?

where do you find out what's new, what's hot and what's not (how cliche)
i use your normal places like
traxsource
beatport
juno

and others but haven't found one thats regularly updated with the more commercial funky house other than MOS but that can get stale quickly

I usually use the sales charts on the download stores myself, trackitdown also has a dj's top 10 list but these are normally there to boost sales rather than a proper representation of whats doing well on the dancefloor.

I cant really think of any good sites outside of these for rating tracks so it will be useful to see what other people use

yeah the Dj own charts are not that great especially when they have their own tune as #1

I rely on my local vinyl store, plus the specialist radio shows (the BBC has come a long way) like Mary-Anne Hobbs. I usually at least listen to all the releases from about 10-20 reliable labels. Plus I hang out at places like Dubstepforum for the buzz on new must have tunes.

Try DJdownload.com for house releases, plus there MUST be a house afficionados website with the word on the street
