Xponenent & torq right half not responding

these are great when they work - i got one in may. it worked really well for a couple of months. no changes at all to system PC vista 32 service pack 1 and then suddenly the right half stopped responding. i reinstalled the xponent and torq software - but no success. i cannot believe such a great piece of kit is sitting idle. i have made many asttempts to contact mauido (£1 a minute to be told to hang on for an operator and then none availalble -good way of raising cash). i have also tried to access the inpenitrable torq forum - like where do you start on which forum.
i think DV247 (bristol anyway) is one of the best music sales shops around and have spent quite a bit with them over the years - they are helpful, knowledgeable and do not have the couldnot careless attitude of some muso's - i am hoping members of their forum will be able to solve my query as it is as you can imagine very annoying - rectec
