Default Traktor can't read tags

Yo. Having a major issue with Traktor. I'm borrowing a mates setup whilst my focusrite is off to the menders.

The problem is that Traktor is refusing to load ANY file I throw at it. Even wav's. It comes up with an ror about not being able to read a tag..

Any ideas ?

When you say 'a mates setup', exactly what does that mean..?

'What' from your original set up is joining 'what' of his?

I'm just tagging my hard drive onto his laptop.

His stuff plays fine, but whenever I try to load a track I got that error.

So you've tried importing or dragging and dropping files into Traktor's 'collection' menu?
It should recognise them and start to stripe them ok..

The only thing I can think of is some sort of PC/Mac incompatibility from when files were originally encoded. I once had trouble re-tagging, or even editing metadata of MP3's from a friends PC .. Sorry I can't be of more help Ed..
