We can't possibly comment but we've been told by the UK distributors there are no more Traktor Scratch left. ;)

As soon as we know anything official, we'll post here.

Default Beat this!

Seems full details on Traktor Scratch Pro are to be announced tomorrow (16th Oct.) but more leaks reach us..

Unified software (?) - something to do with easing transition use from a full club gig to an 'after party' vibe (work that one out..) - A new album art search facility seems likely - New FX with a connection to other NI software (Mmm.. gets better by the second..) - And new improvements in midi handling and loop/beat manipulation too -

Sounds tasty

Morning - when I said unified software, you now only have Traktor Pro. When you start up, you get the option of starting Scratch Pro (for use with A8DJ etc) or Traktor Pro.

The easiest illustration is that you could use your laptop running Traktor Scratch Pro in the club and then just take your laptop without decks etc to the after party..

now why it's not announced yet I don't know so I'll leave it at that for the moment..

But just so you know - the software is lovely - I've had it for a week and the few times I've used it, it has performed very nicely - in fact it seemed to work better on my laptop than Scratch..

Cheers

If you use the native mix recording feature in Tracktor 3 - dont upgrade just yet - thats been left out of pro, though will get added later.

Otherwise seems a good upgrade
