Ok - no - havent even looked at it - are you using that as well? If so, does it actually do much with mp3s?

I tend to be of the thought that reprocessing mp3s is rather like reprocessing jpegs - it can only get worse - kind of like old school video and audio production where you use to have to keep a close eye on how many tape generations you went down when mixing etc.

Anyway - re-levelling is what trim pots are for - if you get your cue levels right.

BTW - what extra template have you got for the VCI-100? That reminds me - I may have to go back to 3 band EQ so I can use a knob for the filter. Was using a 4 band EQ on it before.

no i haven't bought it for pretty much the same reason your saying, couldn't really justify it, but keep getting those blue underlined results in MIK, its ment to tune the track to a key too which im finding hard to believe thats why i thought to ask the 'GURU'

Thats a good looking template - where did you get that one from?

It also answers what I was going to say about the keylock aspect of PN2 - key lock is something I prefer to have my hands on, for eg you can do nice energy mixes manually by dropping the key of an incoming track by a couple of semi-tones to match the outgoing, and at a suitable point in its progression, crank it back up quickly - this also give you more flexibility than ajust finding a track thats allready in the right key.
Thats the Traktor Pro not Traktor SCRATCH Pro update J
Whoops. I've spoken to Steve at Arbiter (the UK distributor) and they are not planning to sell in the UK. The upgrade from Scratch to Sctatch Pro is only available through NI's webstore :(
