Default Copying a tracks settings to other tracks

I can't figure out how to do this.

Let's say on the first track i have slate digitals VCC as a plug in and a couple of other plug ins too, and have applied some high pass filtering.

Then i want to apply all the same settings to other tracks without having to go through the process of opening the same plug in's and applying the same settings.

How do i do that?

Open (edit) channel settings (the e button).

Click on the small square to the right of the insert heading.

Save channel preset.

Voila!

You can also Alt-drag plugins one by one across the mixer channels to copy single plugins to other channels and the settings will be intact.

Start getting into the habit of saving mixer channel presets... and name them descriptively! Quite often you will then call up one of your presets that you know will be a good starting point rather than having to load each plugin individually. It's a real time saver.

Dave, that is clever. Why didn't I think to see whether I can do that (in Logic)? Thanks for mentioning it.
