Also, where it says VST2 plugin paths next to the update button just check that the path to the original Halion .dll is there (the one I posted earlier)

Try this ^^^^

Cubase loves to **** with your head on occasion, every now and then I get a new issue that comes and goes. I've had the missing instrument, I've had my transport panel disappear and currently the global transpose won't change. It's one of the reasons I like it hehe.

I hate it when things get a bit dodgy. I'm just **** scared i'm going to lose my projects. I haven't bought my external back up drive yet and i would be majorly pissed off if i lost any of my music. To think of all that time being wasted.

Backup your projects and the associatied data to something like mediafire. As long as you have the project file and the audio you'll be fine.

most times if plug ins are no longer being shown up in your vst selection its because theyve been deactivated in your plug in manager.sometimes it happens if cubase wasnt closed down properly last time you used it if this ever happens again check your plug in manager see what plug ins are activated and which ones are deactivated if there deactivated just tick the box and then restart cubase next time it loads up it reactivates the missing plug ins.

this has happened too me a few times especially with kore player and halione it even happened a couple of times with loopmash but thankfullyi dont really use loopmash as its crap.
