Default Buss Sidechain Routing in SX3...

Sooooo, working on a House track at the moment that has a lot of orchestral string stabs, the track has a muted kick triggering a sidechain compressor that is setup using a 'Quadro Group' with many tracks already sent to it, so theres no problems actually setting up a sidechain compressor,

the problem I have is I want all the seperate orchestral tracks to sound 'together' in the mix so I have sent them all to there own group channel so that I can add effects, EQ and compress everything together as one there,

the problem is I want to sidechain them, but the seperate tracks outputs can only be sent to one group channel,
so really I want to stick them all in one group channel to bring them together as a whole, then send that new single channel to my 'sidechains' group channel, but 'group channels' don't show up in other 'group channels outputs' only my soundcards main outputs show up, so it seems I cant send a group through one group and in to another?

anybody know if it can be done?

I'm thinking its probably going to be a lot easier to bounce down the group that contains all my orchestra sound to one audio track and then send that one track to the sidechain??

is anybody still reading..lol?
