Default Upgrading my home setup

Hi, it's been a while, hope you all well

My recording gear been sitting in the loft for the last couple of years doing nothing, much to my frustration!

I want to upgrade to 64 bit now, so that my plugins run stable and I can install more RAM. My Mixtreme 192 soundcard supports only 32 bit, but as I'm only recording at home now anyway, a simple 2 in/2 out card will do, so I started looking around..

I came accross the UAD appollo twin which seems to double as a sound card and a UAD card, which sounds ideal, but alas it's only for Mac! Why???

I'm wondering what I'm better off to do, sell my PC + sound card & just get a mac + appollo, or buy Windows 7 64, more RAM and a new card? I already have UAD 1, it has done a good enough job for me so far..
