I want to start some really basic recording at home, just some guitar and vocals and have seen the Line 6 UX1 and M-Audio FastTrack online. Does anyone have any opinions/experience of either?
I basically want something that has the hardware/software package that allows me to record electric guitar with decent effects, accoustic through the mic and vocals. What are the software packages like with either product? Also I am using Windows Vista so need something that will work on that cos I have heard there might be some problems with the UX1. Maybe Line 6 have sorted that out by now? Or would it be worth spending more and getting the UX2? Any suggestions/advice much appreciated! Thanks Norm |
