Default whats the best bargain youve ever won on ebay?

whats the one thing you were amazed youd got at a bargain price on ebay..

for me it ws too win a brand new steinberg houston controller for 170 pounds..when it can i couldnt believe it was a brand new factory sealed houston i remember when they first came out they were well over a grand..but they never really took off because when they came out vsts were a new thing and most people still used hardware gear too create music.i think it was way ahead of its time when i first plugged it in i was shocked too find out that it not only links direct too cubase sx without any configurating but it also directlly links too any installed vsts and allows me too control them exactlly the same as the novation automapping ..now this feature i never saw in any reviews from the time they quickly say it can control somethings but because there wasnt lots of vsts out when it came out it doesnt go into much detail just how well it does control vst effects and vst instruments..in fact it also allows you too use the ringed encoders too control vst parameters such as cutoff /resonat filters and everything can be recorded directly into cubase.

and another thing i was shocked too find in the box was a brand new still sealled full copy of nuendo !! not le version but the actual full version included free inside the box.

ive tried out a fair few controllers but the houston is easily the most responsive one ive used too date if you ever see one going on ebay or if dv247 ever sell one then i suggest you buy it quick smart if you use cubase /nuendo you wont be disapointed.

Dude you got a bargain on that houston fairplay.

Best steal for me has gotta be the EMU Morpheus i got last year picked it up for £165 which i reckon is a steal when one went only a week or so earlier for nearly twice that.

Not quite up there with a 63 Gibson, but I've had a couple nice pairs of RCA Blackplate 6L6GCs for 20-odd quid. If you never tried these, don't bother - leave them all for me!!

You've got to bring yourself up here for the Edinbugger Festival. There's a comedian who plays every year called Brendan Burns, and he's superb. Imagine what Bill would be like if he was slightly spasticated and Australian, and you're more or less there. I've got a couple of his albums around here somewhere, shall have to upload a few samples for ye, 'cos he's great, and he's about the nearest thing to Bill that I've found.

Excluding Denis Leary, natch. But that's not for good reasons.

I think saying bill hick took to many drugs and died isnt quite right, he died of cancer. but yes he was amazing. Goat boy was a bit much at times.

on the subject of ebay i got a Roland sh09 for £80 i think its because of it being in the wrong section and it was only a short listing with no picture

I sold it to a mate, i really wish id just put in my studio till i found a use for it.

I have not bought or sold a lot on Ebay though I have been a member for years.
I suppose the best deal I managed to get was a perfect condition Quad 99 FM tuner for £255.
