Cool just won on ebay !!

hi i just won a brand new steinberg houston controller on ebay and i was wondering if any of you have had any experience using it.

i know its an old controller but many still say its the best controller too use with cubase or nuendo.but saying its been out for a few years theres not much i can find out about it or any tricks it can do.

im currently using a remote zero sl but i got frustrated using it after the latest 2.0 firmware upgrade for some reason its become a nightmare too control the mixer and other things which were easy in the last update, the vsts still control ok but the faders jump all over the place or simply dont respond thats why i thought id try get a dedicated cubase controller and see if thats any better..

well it came today and i was gobsmacked how good it is ..as a control surface ive never felt better motorised faders than this.it picks up all vsts straight away no need too use automap it finds them as soon as i put the in the instrument bay.its also very fast to use all the main buttons you use each day like save/edit/mute/solo/etc are all there blinking away.
the very big lcd screen is clear and bright .for the price i won it at 170 pounds i got a bargain but now ive got too sell stuff on ebay too pay for it .i think ill be selling my remote zero sl the houston beats this as a daw controller ..the novation is good at controlling vsts but the drum pads and faders are too small to be off any use so i think ill sell the remote and maybe ask the wife too get me a nocturn for controlling vsts for xmas.

but for anyone who uses cubase this has too be a must have there rare now but if you ever do see one on ebay snap it up quickly you wont regret it
