Recording audio from a Grundig TK140 Reel to Reel recorder

Hello all,

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. What I'm hoping to do is to transfer some old recordings from a Grundig TK140 Reel to Reel recorder while the tape is still good. I use Ableton Live 9 and have a Saffire Pro 24 pre-amp I use to record guitar and vocals.

Can I connect the TK140 to my pc using the pre-amp and if so what additional cables will I need?

Thanks very much for any advice you can offer me.

Iggy

Yes usually this should work. What outputs does the Grundig have? I guess you might need some kind of adapters for it to make it work.
