Default A Question for the STAFF

Hello, im new to this.
To the point, i want to get a acoustic bass guitar, i know which one its all good, but can you garantee that it wouldn't be damaged when i get it since its more fragile than electric.
Also can i be asured that because i dont get to choose the bass and its online, your not going to choose the one in the worsts condition that people wouldn't buy in a street store?

I've see this kind of question asked before and have to say that any retailer who tries to palm-off customers with damaged goods wouldn;t be in business for very long.

The thing you should bear in mind is that ALL equipment will be sold in suitable protective packaging... and 99% of the time that will be the packaging the shop received it in from the manufacturer or distributor.

In the case of your acoustic bass, it will be the same packaging the manufacturer shipped it in, and they would have put it in something that they know will stand up to being stacked several feet high and then either shipped on a pallet or stacked further in a shipping container and shipped by sea from China (or somewhere similarly distant).

It'll certainly be in something to transport it safely the last few or few hundred miles from the DV warehouse or shop to your door by courier.

Any damage accidentally sustained in transit will be covered by DV anyway.

Thanks man,
I was wondering because i can either pop down to london and try to find it in the hundreds of guitar shops, or save me the trouble of the transport fees and get it online.
I think for a acoustic you definantly need to see it in person to know if you should buy it.
Thanks for the detailed help =]

I've bought most of my gear from DV and each time it's been shipped to me here in Spain. I've never had a problem with damaged goods and have always had quite a bit of work to do to unpackage the goods. They are always securely wrapped. Top job guys!

Customers stick around because of many reasons but IMO DV delivery quality and that's why I'm still buying from them.
