Exclamation Akg 220 Mic Postition facing + Vicoustic Flexi Screen Lite Microphone Isolation Panel

Hey Peepz

first of all can i ask you lot what postion should the akg preception 220 be or faceing up or down for good sound of rap vocals.

also is this soundproofing/treat good for the mic http://www.dv247.com/invt/64040/ for this type of room In A loft that is insulated from celing and walls ( gets kinda warm in summer), i have built a closet and shelf to put my mic stand on it and then lock in my mic to it, the closet is quite wide and not that much sound comming i think the door i just made aswell.

If You Need Pictures I Can Post it will make it clearer

An AKG 220 will be okay. I mean, it's an inexpensive condenser mic so you can't expect too much from it. As long as you're reasonable you probably won't be too disappointed. The mic screen thingy will do some good, but it won't make the room sound like a nice live room. What else can you do but try it and see?
