i have gone to the trouble of researching it so the panels i build can compare to what are being sold commercially

This is a great thread and it's interesting to watch the process devekop.

What might be a good idea, Paul, when you have it all up and running, is do a single "summary" post with your final shopping list etc. What do ya think, mate?

yes this will most definitely be done and i may have something else planned too but will see how feasible it is on completion

no, iv had to put them into storage as im moving so thought it would be pointless to finish them now, as i settle in the new place they will be the first to do on my list

I will post some of what im doing very soon. the bass traps are already up and the panel to sit behind the monitors is sat in the garage drying as i type this. all that left to do with this panel is glue in the rockwool and then glue the foam on top. im a bit unsure of what to do on the ceiling tho as i have a feeling the rockwool will just fall apart. but we shall see. hopefully 2moro night i can glue it and hang it on wednesday and post some pics so you can have a butchers
