Default Live's use of Midi Toggle Controllers

Wondered If anyone here knows about this.

I've now warped enough tracks to have a go at a set. I'm struggling to get it to work properly with my Nocturn though.

Specifically, I am using the 8 push buttons to act as on/off switched for two EQ3 units. That's 4 a piece, switching different freq ranges on each unit in/out.

The problem is that Live only remembers to switch them on or off. After pushing the button once, they becomes useless until I go into Midi mapping again.

Any ideas on how to fix this ?

you have to adjust this in nocturn, i think it's the incramental value step, i think if set to 1, it's 1 push = on again = off, so high light the value, it goes red at the bottom have it so
Max:127 Min:0 Step:1

I did that, but that didn't work. Incidentally, I think we're both wrong.

Since we either want it hard on (127) or hard off (0), I think it should be set as max 127, min 0, step 128. That would effectively toggle between 0 and 126.

It fixed itself somehow !

128 steps means it takes 128 pushes to achieve message 127, think the way mentioned earlier is correct still
