I wanted to go all the way to Vista64 and install 8Gb of RAM... but alas I had enough trouble getting my gear running on Vista32 (and before anyone says "you should use XP" I had to move up to Vista for other reasons).

Currently I have 2 major casualties.
  • Powercore (a PCI MkII and a PCIe)... no Vista drivers whatsoever as of yet and they have so far missed 2 of their own self-imposed 3 month deadlines... the situation is utterly shameful.
  • Tascam DM3200 (actually the IF/FW-DM MkII firewire option card) - though, thankfully, it manages to just about operate under ASIO by forcing the XP driver to install... apparently the Vista drivers are currently undergoing the final beta test and release is imminent... mind you, it's been imminent for months!
So, currently, I daren't even dream of Vista64.
