One channel does mean that you can only plug in one mic at a time, doesn't it?

This means that you can't put two mics on a guitar, for example, at the same time, right?

Well then, and I know you haven't tried out the ISA One yet terminal3, but if you were to buy a pre-amp would you choose it over one such as the ISA 428 with more channels?

Eventhough I only one track at a moment, I think that I would prefer to buy a preamp that would allow me do stereo pair recordings in the future. And the ISA One doesn't allow this, right?

Am I correct in how I understand all this?

PS It's still a great prize though...and "never look a gift horse in the mouth"!!
