I just want one 3 word phrase really stretched-the idea is that it distorts a bit in a spooky way (an effect I've played with in the past). I just can't work out why its not doing it, the pitch is basically remaining stable and despite stretching it to almost triple its original length its still recognisable, but the the sample is repeated and extended beyond the event instead of mangled and elongated.
Its odd. Oh well, will work around it but it just seems I'm missing something silly.
