Those are seriously good photos, Nicolas, and that's some serious natural ageing. Isn't it great when you get a new guitar, I never tire of it!

I think it's a slight shame that you cleaned it so well, it's lost some of it's natural 'patina'. In 35 years of owning a stack load of vintage guitars, I've never cleaned one with any sort of polish or cleaning fluid and would never do so.

Nevertheless, it still looks great; are you going to replace the bent pick up surrounds?

Just a quick comment about Tom Murphy aged Les Pauls; I have a '57 Custom Shop TM Goldtop which is a fantastic guitar in its own right, but the ageing gives it the vibe of an old one. I could never hope to own a real one, which would probably cost about $120,000.

Lastly, what are 'bickers bars'? Presumably you mean 'bikers'?
