Don't get me wrong... I have no hostility towards going 64-bit... in fact quite the opposite, I'm positively chomping at the bit!

Vista might well have been out for a couple of years, but Vista drivers were slow to appear for music equipment and Vista64 drivers followed even more slowly after those. It takes many months or even a year or so of having drivers "out in the wild" before most of the bugs and incompatibilities are ironed out and they become mature. Many items still don't have Vista64 drivers. You are fortunate to have mature Vista64 drivers for all your kit... but you are certainly in the minority. Out of curiosity, what else are you running besides Live 7, Remote Zero SL and an FA-101... it might be useful to collate a list of gear and software that people have stable under Vista64.

... and I'm not surprised you get more Vista32 problems than Vista64, what exactly is the ratio of those with Vista64 to those with Vista32??

On a positive note, it looks like some of the music industry are choosing this Winter NAMM to release new Vista64 capable updates and even new version of software products... could be an opportune time to dip a toe in the water.
