Can I say... if you really want to go 32-bit then I would fully recommend going all the way back to XP.

Vista 32-bit is not as well supported as some of you seem to be convinced. It is in fact more buggy and less stable than Vista 64.
I agree there are more 32-bit drivers out there, but as bscully has already said there are loads of high end bits of software that run fully 64-bit, including their VST's.

I would actually like to start a thread to explain everything there is about the transfer to 64-bit, but there is no area on this forum for OS's and real computing chat. In fact I would like to re-educate a lot of people's misplaced beliefs in 64-bit Vista (not XP 64-bit - that was genuinely rubbish!)
