I bought the DM5 pro a while back and I've never been more dissappointed. The thing is of such bad build quiality that already after 3 months it's more of a chore to play. The selection wheel with which you scroll through the drum kits now doesn't go through the kits in sequence (1,2,3,4,...) instead, as you turn it, it flicks to whatever random kit it wants....therefore you have to have your wits about you and let go of the wheel when yours appears.
One of the cymbal pads is already making this horrible rattling noise as if something is broken inside. I'm not a heavy handed drummer atall, and I would have expected the kit to be designed to withstand being played. Also one of the drum pads has already gone. It's pot luck wether you get a response from the thing, it seems to have just given up. The hi hat doesn't respond to anything above about 60bpm if you have your foot off the pedal.
I won't go on and on about it, because there's a huge list of things wrong with the piece of crap. I wouldn't waste your money - within months it will need replacing and you will be tearing your hair out.
