Just to add to the suggestions already made...you might also want to consider Stlyus RMX it has thousands of individual sounds and loads of genre specific Multi's / loops you can use as well...host sync e.t.c.

Plenty of material in there for Techno IMO.

Spectrasonics even have a dedicated user tutorial for Ableton users.

Mp3 demos can be found here but the mp3's below might give an idea of how it might sound a bit closer to the genre you work in...of course you can make an instrument as flexbile as this fit just about any genre...
