Trev, although you've changed the default when posting to a thread, you're probably still subscribed to shed loads of threads. Go "Quick Links > Subscribed Threads" (or this link may take you straight there:
http://forums.dv247.com/subscription.php) and delete your subscriptions to the threads you've previously posted to.
