Matt, congrats with winning Omnisphere. Just had a look at the specs. It is an absolute monster by the sound of things. 8 arps, physco-acoustic sources and 50 gigs needed for a full install. It must have a sound for every occasion that ever has and will be !!
Oh my word !!
I am so shocked and surprised to have won that. Completely out of the blue. I was just having a quick look after I got home, before I go to bed. This is a rather large jolt to the system at this hour !! I'm now wide awake again. Oh well, it seems like a good time to fire up Logic and make more music
I'd say everyone on here has so far shown to be really passionate and 'into' what we're all here for, so I have respect for everyone else's views on topics. It doesn't matter if it's guitars and pre-amps, synths, Dj-ing etc. I do really find it interesting on here. It's a lot more laid back and less competitive then other forums. People seem willing to help and discuss more as well. Absolutely anyone could win !
I'm really humbled that you guys think I'm worth having around. And of course, I'm uber excited to have won the UAD 2 because it really is a slick piece of kit. The chip they put in them is amazingly powerful and flexible. It can do 40 bit floats. Hellllooo non-linear programming heaven

I'm itching to see what the emulations sound like. I'm lucky enough to have the use of a NEVE desk at uni, so I can't wait to do some A/B-ing.
I will have to get my Cubase/PC rig out to use it, until I have saved enough to buy a powermac to put it in. But I will come back with feedback and some audio files for you to check out.
Oh, as for next week's prize. I can't rate Traktor enough. I hope one of my fellow dj's gets it, because they really will be amazed at what it can do. It even has filters modelled on the classic A&H Dj mixers
On that happy note. I'd like to thank you all again. You keep me informed, entertained and motivated to know I have some good peers to chat and turn to for help. It really is a nice place to be on the web
